I have my login link, but can we submit want lists? Do they have to poll the BGG server for any of that?

You don't need BGG to submit your wantlists. At this point of a math trade, BGG is only helpful in researching games you may be interested in.

No disrespect intended to the moderator, but it would've been helpful if he left a note stating what the plan was, either full steam ahead or delay the deadline.

If you clear your cookies after your browser session, you can't get into the OLWLG if BGG is not up. The login asks for your BGG username and then sends a link to BGG Geekmail. Seems not to be the best way to do things given just this kind of snafu.

Trent may not even know that BGG is down yet. He made the deadline what it is because he's busy during the day on Sunday. If he's just sitting down to get TradeMaximizer rolling now, he's probably wondering what the best move is with respect to the deadline as much as you are.
