Having played a prototype version several times now, I remain puzzled that a cool, highly interactive game, with sheep no less isn't getting much love over at Kickstarter.

So, if interactive games like Tammany Hall where you need to both cooperate and stab people are you thing, what's holding you back from backing this Kickstarter project?

Kickstarter has destroyed my wallet and I've had to rein myself in to ever hope of having any money at all to spend at BGG.CON. It's just a matter of timing, I'm afraid.

I haven't had a chance to read through everything the game has to offer, but I feel like a gameplay/components video would have added more interest.

The typo is a bit of a turn off.  The cover art needs some work too IMHO, that doesn't look like a sheep dog.

Well after being burned pretty badly by a bad kickstarter buy, I don't buy kickstarter games.

In addition, I'm not a huge theme guy, but Sheepdogs as a theme just seems like a game that is aimed younger and less complex than I'd be interested in.

My guess is the $50 price tag for basically a card game.  Too steep for me for what you apparently get.

If it had a theme of pirate-zombie-samurai-cowboys in outer space, it would be funded right now.

Well, when they started the project, they had nothing but a vague description of the game mechanisms, some black-and-white pen illustrations, a prototype board, no rules, and a list of the games they had published as "proof" that this would be a good game.  I think they would have gotten off to a better start if they had resolved all those issues before starting the project.
