Well, there was a news article in the red news box up at the top that
said there was scheduled downtime today. If you have that widget
turned off, it wouldn't show up.

If you are using Google Groups, on the top of the page, in the header,
click on OPTIONS then select fixed fonts, and now you can see it in
all it's monospace glory.
