Does anyone around still refill canisters instead of swap?

Maybe it's just my impractical sentimentality speaking, but I just got my first 5lb canister and it's so new and clean and shiny and I'd just prefer to keep it.  

Is there anyone who will do a refill?  Or even have it sent for refill and returned, be it a day or a month turnaround time?

Also I've seen conflicting info on the "food grade" vs general stuff.  Any words of wisdom on the topic?
