2015 Officer Nominations

November got away from me in a hurry, so it's now past time to open up the nominations for club officers for 2015.  As I mentioned at the last meeting, I'm going to change things up just a little this time.  This is not in accordance with our bylaws, so if you're offended by my abuse of power I encourage you to nominate yourself for President.  In a feeble experiment to encourage participation, the nominations/elections will be for either President, or VP/Treasurer/Secretary lumped together.  The new group's first responsibility will be to divvy titles/responsibilities between themselves.  The primary reasoning is to highlight that what the club really needs is people willing to commit to helping with planning and execution of meetings, activities, events, etc, and the titles are really of secondary concern.  At least the way we've been doing it.  And I don't want to end up with 4 people who refuse the President title.

If you enjoy this club and what it brings to the local homebrew scene, please consider getting involved and nominating yourself to be an officer.  There will be turnover this year as there is every year, so we DO need some fresh blood.  It's really not a huge responsibility, but contact me if you want more info.

Nomination form is on the front page of the website - http://www.bellinghambrewers.com/.  On a compressed schedule, I'm going to keep it open through Sunday night, voting will commence next Monday with the results being announced at Thursday's meeting.
