Hi All,

I wish to mount my roadbike on my car because I am going out of state every month.
Any good racks you suggest? Whats the price tag? and where can I get one?
Please suggest your experience if you own one.

Regards,
Streetfire!

What is your car model?

For Hatchbacks Thule is around 8K. And Sedans, which can accommodate 3 cycles, was quoted around 7K in decathlon.

I consolidated all the information I know about car racks into this page http://notebook.bumsonthesaddle.com/bicycle-carriers-for-car
Please check it out and also update it with more information as available. Abhinesh, hope this helps!

Hello,

I got a BSA trunk mount for 2800 rs from RR cycles ,i had also seen the one from Thule(trunk mount)  which costs approx 7k , when i looked at both i was convinced that the BSA  mount i got was not bad for the price i paid . It is sturdy and pretty strong , i have carried 3 cycles on it (including Hercules which is relatively heavy ) on my trunk, and i never had an issue with it . I recommend BSA for 3k (if it breaks buy one more and you  still spend less :) ) .

Saris Bones RS is the best rack I have seen. Great design, very solid,
holds 3 bikes without even allowing them to touch, and mounts and
dismounts in 10 seconds maximum.

Mounting and dismounting is so fast that I dismount it and put it in
the dikki when riding.

I'd like to get a bike rack that can carry up to 3 bikes and fits onto
a Toyota Qualis. Which one fits onto a Qualis?
Thanks!
