All,
We are looking to repurpose a number of wall-mounted Sony PTZ cameras in lecture halls to be used for Skype and Panopto (lecture capture). Since both applications will only recognize USB video with UVC interface (webcam), we’re hoping to
find a USB video capture device (most likely a “dongle”), but as yet have no joy. (All signs pointed to the
Hauppauge USB-Live 2 until a call to their support line – they have excellent support – brought the news that changes to Skype have made it incompatible.)
Has anyone found a solution that enables a camera’s s-video output to be streamed via Skype or Panopto?
Thanks,
Joe Schuch
