Researchers and Librarians from Research4Life eligible countries are invited to apply for one of 10 free delegate registrations at the forthcoming Researcher to Reader (R2R) virtual conference, taking place on 23-24th February!

The R2R Conference, normally held at BMA House in London, will be running as an interactive and hands-on 2-day online meeting, together with a number of optional pre-conference events from 25th January.  The normal full registration price is £190 for a Librarian or Academic delegate. One of the most popular features of R2R is the choice of collaborative, practical workshops which run over 3 sessions during the 2 days, allowing participants to explore a subject in depth and to identify some tangible outcomes.   The full conference programme can be found at https://r2rconf.com

Research4Life has partnered with the organisers of R2R to allocate ten delegate passes to researchers or librarians from any of its eligible countries (see https://research4life.org/eligibility).  Applicants must be able to commit to attending the full 2-day conference, which runs from 10am-5pm GMT.   Applicants should state which of the 5 workshops they would like to join, and briefly describe why that workshop is of particular interest.

  • Workshop A: New Models for Open Access
  • Workshop B: Who Decides What’s “Good” Academic Writing?
  • Workshop C: An Antiracist Framework for Scholarly Communications
  • Workshop D: Usage Metrics for Open Outputs
  • Workshop E: The Many Shapes of Peer Review

The deadline for applications is Friday 29th January at 17:00 GMT, and applications can be made online here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NFXGPLR
