Dear colleague,

We would like to invite you to join us at the upcoming virtual meeting “Addressing neglected COVID-19 research priorities in low-resource settings: a conversation on collectively advancing research”, to be held on 17 June from 14:30 CEST (2h).
MORE INFO & REGISTER
This meeting will provide opportunities to funders and researchers to ask questions, know who is doing what and where as well as to learn and advise in an open, “no strings attached” environment.

Several expert working groups of the coalition and some external partners will present their proposed approaches to tackling four urgent but under-addressed COVID-19 research questions in low-resource settings:
  1. The post-COVID condition (“long COVID”) in low-resource settings
  2. Increasing biorepository & sequencing capacity in low- and middle-income countries: a partnership approach
  3. Research ethics in public health emergencies – multi-country consultations on ethical challenges faced during the COVID-19 pandemic & the utility of the Nuffield Ethical Compass
  4. Alternative approaches to evaluating excess mortality
If you are interested to hear more, you are welcome to join us. And if you or your colleagues are working in any of the four above-mentioned areas, come prepared to share your information so we can connect you with the project groups!
