WEBINAR: "Communicating Research for Impact"

About this event:
A distinguished panel of leaders from a range of UK and African Institutions will share their knowledge and approaches to communicating research to policymakers. The discussion will include challenges and context-specific solutions for successfully engaging and influencing policymakers at a range of levels. It will be an opportunity to exchange knowledge, share advice for best-practice and discuss shared challenges.

The primary audience is academics who are interested in strengthening their research impact through policy engagement and those working as ‘knowledge brokers’ at the institutional level (e.g. research managers, public affairs etc.). It will also be relevant to research managers both in the UK and across Africa who wish to better understand academia-policy engagement within a variety of institutional and national contexts.

Chaired by Professor Madara Ogot, University of Nairobi
