devotees of all cults, they rose to champion his cause with dedication. By
defying death and butchering others they made Islam the world's second
largest religion, now the biggest threat to world peace. The author argues

The Challenge
Sina's Challenge to Muslims
I receive many emails from angry Muslims, who sometimes beg me, and
sometimes order me to remove this site. I consider both, pleading and
bullying, signs of psychopathology. Argumentum ad baculum and argumentum ad
misericordiam are both logical fallacies.
If you do not like this site and want me to remove it, instead of acting as
a bully or as a victim, disprove my charges against Muhammad logically. Not
only will I remove the site, I will publicly announce that Islam is a true
religion. I will also pay $50,000 U.S. dollars to anyone who can disprove
any of the dozen of the accusations that I have made against Muhammad. I
accuse Muhammad of being:
a narcissist
a misogynist
a rapist
a pedophile
a lecher
a torturer
a mass murderer
a cult leader
an assassin
a terrorist
a mad man
a looter
I have debated with many Muslims. Their defense of Islam can be summarized
in two categories:
a- Denial of the authenticity of Islamic sources that report the stories of
crimes of Muhammad (example: debate with Edip Yukssel, a leader of the
Submitters)
b- Moral relativism and situational ethics, e.g., "In those days,
pedophilia, assassination, rape, raid, pillage, massacre and lying, were
common practices, so Muhammad is innocent because he did what everyone else
was doing." Muslims even go as far as to question the legitimacy of the
Golden Rule to claim I do not have any basis to condemn Muhammad. In other
words, who can say what is good and what is evil? That is up to the
messenger of God to decide. (Example: debate with Yamin Zakaria)
These are the main two arguments that Muslims present in defense of Islam.
Any rational person can see they are logical fallacies.
These charges are irrefutable. You simply can't disprove them because they
are reported in Islamic sources and as such they are as good as confession.
You can't acquit a criminal after he has confessed, unless you plead
insanity, which is my point.
Muslims often ask: "Who will judge whether or not an attempt to disprove
your accusations against Muhammad and Islam, was successful?" The readers
will be the jury. It is not difficult to see which side is right once both
arguments are presented without one side fearing the other. I will publish
the debates in this site. My opponents are also encouraged to publish them
in any Islamic site. Please note that I will not accept face to face
debates. The debates must be in writing.

world can offer? Where are the scholars of Islam? Why such an important
task is left to a bunch of amateurs who actually do more damage to Islam?
Isn't it time that the real scholars come forth and refute my charges?
The truth is that several of the people that debated me were real scholars,
such as the eminent Pakistani scholar Mr. Javed Ahmed Ghamidi and his
disciple Dr. Khalid Zaheer. This debate is a must read and is available for
download. Dr. Zaheer is a learned man, a moderate Muslim and a good human
being. I have utmost respect for him.
As of this date (2007), I will no longer debate with people who want to
debate anonymously. I only debate with reputable scholars. I made this
decision because often, Muslims moved by their faith and zealotry, but with
little knowledge of Islam, challenge me to debate. They rehash the same
tried and refuted arguments that bore everyone and disappear. Then, other
Muslims, either accuse me of fabricating those debates or pooh-pooh my
opponents for not being scholars.
As of this day, I am also doubling the reward. If you are not a reputable
scholar, you can still win the prize. All you have to do is persuade a
scholar to debate with me. If he (she) disproves my charges or can prove
that Muhammad was a prophet of God, both you and he (she) will be rewarded
$50,000 dollars each. This is to encourage you to write to your admired
scholar and convince them that Islam is in danger and that it is their duty

Yes, Islam is in grave danger. Never, since its inception, Islam has faced a
threat as serious as this. Today, millions of ex-Muslims are questioning the
claimed truth of Islam, can make their criticisms heard worldwide, and
unlike before, not fear for their lives. As long as these questions are not
answered, this trend is only bound to continue, until the trickle becomes a

realization that among a billion Muslims there is not a single scholar who
can prove the wild claims of Muhammad, nor acquit him of these grave
charges. This unmet challenge has a sobering effect on them. They can make
any excuse, such as, I am not worth their response, that there have been
greater men than me who opposed Islam, or that I have been refuted already,
but they will not be able to fool themselves. The more this challenge is
circulated, the more Muslims will be forced to remain silent and doubt
Islam. Do not undermine the psychological effect of this impossible
challenge.

In support of the Palestinian Human Rights Community Call for International
Action
As if the occupation was not enough, the brutal ongoing repression of the
Palestinian population, the construction of settlements and the siege of
Gaza - now comes the bombardment of the civilian population: men, women, old
folks and children. Hundreds of dead, hundreds of injured, overwhelmed
hospitals, and the central medicine depot of Gaza bombed. The ship Dignity
of the Free Gaza movement which brought emergency medical supplies and a
number of physicians was also attacked. Israel has returned to openly
committing war crimes, worse than what we have seen in a long time.
Israeli media do not expose their viewers to the horrors and to the voices
of severe criticism of these crimes. The story told is uniform. Israeli
dissidents are denounced as traitors. Public opinion including that of the
Zionist left supports the Israeli policy uncritically and without
reservation.
Israel's destructive criminal policy will not cease without a massive
intervention by the international community. However, except for some rather
weak official condemnation, the international community is reluctant to
intervene,. The United States openly supports the Israeli violence and
Europe, although voicing some condemnation, is unwilling to seriously
consider withdrawing the "gift" it handed Israel by upgrading its relations
with the European Union.
In the past the world knew how to fight criminal policies. The boycott on
South Africa was effective, but Israel is handled with kid gloves: its trade
relations are flourishing, academic and cultural cooperation continue and
intensify with diplomatic support.
This international backing must stop. That is the only way to stop the
insatiable Israeli violence.
We are calling on the world to stop Israeli violence and not allow the
continuation of the brutal occupation. We call on the world to Condemn and
not become an accomplice in Israel's crimes.
In light of the above, we call on the world to implement the call by
Palestinian human rights organizations which urges:
? "The UN Security Council to call an emergency session and adopt concrete
measures, including the imposition of sanctions, in order to ensure Israel's
fulfillment of its obligations under international humanitarian law.
? The High Contracting Parties to the Geneva Conventions to fulfil their
obligation under common Article 1 to ensure respect for the provisions of
the Conventions, taking appropriate measures to compel Israel to abide by
its obligations under international humanitarian law, in particular placing
pivotal importance on the respect and protection of civilians from the
effects of the hostilities.
? The High Contracting Parties to fulfil their legal obligation under
Article 146 of the Fourth Geneva Convention to prosecute those responsible
for grave breaches of the Convention.
? EU institutions and member states to make effective use of the European
Union Guidelines on promoting compliance with international humanitarian law
(2005/C 327/04) to ensure Israel complies with international humanitarian
law under paragraph 16 (b), (c) and (d) of these guidelines, including the
adoption of immediate restrictive measures and sanctions, as well as
cessation of all upgrade dialogue with Israel. "

The Australian Government has initiated a $3 million national pilot
project designed to curb cyber-bullying in Australia
At least 150 Government and non-government schools in urban, rural and
remote Australia will participate in the pilot which will run until 30
April 2010.
It will help confront safety issues in e-communications, including
cyber-bullying and examine the effectiveness of existing cyber-safety
programmes

(owners of Blogger.com) must turn over the electronic identity of an
anonymous blogger who repeatedly attacked New York model , calling her
"a psychotic, lying, whoring ... skank", among other things, on a blog
titled "Skanks in NYC". Because the victim has grounds to sue the
blogger for defamation, the court ordered Google to cough up a name to
allow her to fill in the "defendant" blank.
Naturally, this has some of the more libertarian-minded among us
crying, "Censorship!" and "What about freedom of speech?" and "Will
they be coming for my anonymous blog next?"

Cyberbullies don't deserve anonymity
A teenager was ordered to be detained yesterday for posting death
threats on Facebook.
Keeley Houghton, 18, said on her Facebook profile that she would kill
Emily Moore, 18
Houghton was sentenced to three months in a young offender institution
after pleading guilty to harassment at Worcester Crown Court.
On July 12 this year Houghton wrote: “Keeley is going to murder the
bitch. She is an actress. What a f***ing liberty. Emily F***head
Moore.”
The court was told that Houghton had waged a string of verbal attacks
on Miss Moore
District Judge Bruce Morgan told her: “Since Emily Moore was 14 you
have waged compelling threats and violent abuse towards her. Bullies
are by their nature cowards, in school and society. The evil, odious
effects of being bullied stay with you for life. On this day you did
an act of gratuitous nastiness to satisfy your own twisted nature.”

The court was also told that, two days before posting the
threatening message on Facebook, “I’ll give you something to ring the
police about.”
Houghton was banned from having any contact with Miss Moore via any
means for five years.
She had tried to defend her actions, saying that she had posted the
message while drunk late at night and had no memory of writing the
threat.
Yasmin Joomraty, a lawyer at Laurence Kaye Solicitors, a firm of
digital media specialists, said: “Harassment, even online, comes under
the Protection from Harassment Act and can create both a civil and a
criminal outcome. Though this case does not seem to me to mark a
turning point necessarily, people do have to watch what they say
online.”

The Government says it is becoming more widespread as bullies use
emerging technologies such as social networking sites.
Education Minister Julia Gillard has announced 150 schools in urban,
rural and remote parts of the country will be involved in a pilot to
look at how to respond to incidents.
"For kids it feels like there's no safe space, they can get you at
home through new technology.
"We need to find a way of dealing with this."
The pilot will run to the end of April next year and will be conducted
by the Alannah and Madeline Foundation for preventing violence.
Recommendations will then be made to the Government to consider in a
broader review.
Judith Bundy from the Australian Council says more needs to be done.
"I think this project is going to produce some recommendations and
they'll be in the Government's hands by April next year, so that's a
reasonable time line I think," she said.
"We'll certainly be looking with great interest at those
recommendations."

What those people forget is that defamation laws were around in some
form long before the US constitution was written. Freedom of speech is
all well and good – and believe me, I'm a big fan – but slander is not
protected. This is not news. And if your insults come up high in
search engine results for your target, affecting her reputation and
employability, a lawsuit should not come as a big shock.
As for the hand-wringing about privacy, I hate to be the one to break
it to the internet, but that horse is out of the barn. As Peter Cohen
writes at All Things Digital, "Every time you use the internet, you're
leaving a trail of identifiable information."
Or, as my husband, an internet marketing professional who's been
active in online communities for nearly 20 years, put it, "Anyone who
thinks they're actually anonymous is a complete moron."
Yet all over the web, people operating under the illusion that their
identities are thoroughly hidden continue to prove John Gabriel's
famous theory of internet behaviour: Normal person + anonymity +
audience = total prat. And too often, particularly when it comes to
misogynistic attacks that not only harm women's public reputations but
drive them away from participating in online communities, citizens of
the internet side with the prats.
People become obsessed with hypothetical legal arguments about freedom
of speech – even the kind of speech that's never been protected – to
the exclusion of looking at a larger, more important question: What
kind of internet culture do we want?
Just as in the real world, online discourse is exactly as civilized as
people make it. Standards don't come from law but from unspoken codes
of behaviour, and the social pressure exerted on those who, according
to said standards, are acting like jerks. Every online insult does not
demand a lawsuit – if it did, I'd have about a thousand different
suits pending as we speak – but we've spent too long letting hateful
troublemakers equate "freedom of speech" with "freedom from criticism
or consequences". And the more we argue about online harassment from a
strictly legalistic perspective, the more we ignore the fundamental
issue: cowards who use a veil of anonymity, however flimsy and easily
shredded, to launch attacks on their enemies, really ought to be
silenced. Perhaps not by law, but by an online society that
unequivocally rejects such behaviour as inappropriate, immature, and
unwelcome.
So far, we've failed to create that society, prioritising overblown
fears of future oppressive regulation above properly ostracising
people who cause real harm and contribute nothing of value. So if it
takes a lawsuit to make people think twice about trashing others for
sport in a medium that can attach an innocent woman's name to the
phrase "psychotic, lying, whoring skank" into perpetuity (an
eventuality I'm now contributing to – sorry, ), then call me a
stereotypical litigious American, but I'm for it.
