Announcing the Atlassian Developer Community (This time with images)

We are proud to launch our brand new Atlassian Developer Community, one central location for all your ecosystem development and marketplace business questions.

Why are we doing this?

We want to give you a single location to ask all your questions about the Atlassian ecosystem, network with Atlassians and other developers, share your expertise, and learn! 
This new community offers more functionality and growth than the current Google Groups can provide.

NOTE: this Google Group will be frozen in 2 weeks from today and no content will be migrated.  

This means that:

• all content will become read-only and stay in the google group.
• no new members will be able to join the google group.
• Atlassian will no longer follow up on this group.

• Ecosystem Developers
• Marketplace Vendors
• Atlassians across the ecosystem and product teams

Additionally, anybody who is interested can sign up and participate.

Connect Expert tips:

• Be sure to use the atlassian-connect-dev tag on all of your Connect questions.

• Post your question in the right category to get the right eyes on it. There is a JIRA Cloud, JSD Cloud, Confluence Cloud, and Bitbucket Cloud category.

• If you have questions related to our developer tools, you can ask them in the Atlassian Developer Tools category.

Hi,

Does that remove the ability to connect to other vendors by email or direct message?

I personally enjoyed being contacted and contacting other vendors through another channel than their support portal. Was I alone with this opinion?

We do not auto suggest any tags but once you've been active on the community for a bit you will be able to create your own tags.
