Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for development and maintenance of a series of web-based applications.　

Job duties include developing PHP applications, integrating with third-party API*s, working with a team of skilled PHP and web developers and designers, implementing and enforcing coding guidelines and testing procedures, and providing support.

Roles and Experience:

• Work with Manager and development team to design, implement, test and develop new and existing web applications.　
  
• Develop web applications utilizing PHP, CSS, HTML, Javascript/JQuery.　
  
• Create and maintain documentation.　
  
• Investigate new technologies and define and identify their potential use within the applications.　
  
• Be directly contactable by First line support as Second line support for the applications.
  
• Responsible for management and escalation of any issues raised by First line support.
  
• Four　or more years PHP experience.　
  
• Two or more years Object Oriented PHP experience　
  
• MySQL expertise including optimization and security　
  
• Experience with JQuery frameworks and JavaScript　
  
• Strong knowledge of web-based UI development using HTML and CSS　
  
• Strong knowledge with working in Unix/Linux environments　
  
• Content version experience, ideally with Mercurial, GIT or Subversion.
