Responsibilities
· Managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users.
· Development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database.
· Ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
· Integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application.
· Collaborating with the team on machine learning solutions to positively impact the business and differentiate the company from competitors.
Skills and Qualifications
· Ability to solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
· Integration of data storage solutions
· Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks and MVC design patterns
· Understanding of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3) and code versioning tools such as Git, SVN or similar
· Understanding accessibility, security compliance and fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
· Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
· Strong experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and the ability to creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
· Enthusiasm and interest in exploring and studying machine learning.
