Presentation by Micah Wood, Technical Director at Narwhal Digital, @wpscholar

Learn how to create a roadmap for growth, hone your craft, and stand out from the crowd.

As developers, we are always having to learn new things. We have to learn about new language features, the latest tools, and how to get our work done faster without sacrificing quality. Sometimes, we even have to learn new languages altogether. Often, the reason we don't evolve our skills is because we don't know how or we don't have time. Whether you are trying to learn PHP for the first time, or are trying to figure out how to build and lead a team of developers, come learn how to identify where you or your team members are in the learning process and what activities you should focus on and when in order to learn things quicker and more effectively.

About Micah: Micah Wood is the Technical Director at Narwhal Digital, an agency in Atlanta where he leads a team of 8 developers. He has taught PHP at Creative Circus, is an organizer of the WordPress Gwinnett Meetup group, has publicly released over a dozen WordPress plugins and is a WordPress core contributor. Micah specializes in enterprise WordPress and React development. He has a passion for learning best practices and sharing his knowledge with the greater development community and makes a habit out of teaching and speaking at tech meetups and conferences.
