PHP Web Application Developer

Our future strategy is to enhance our Software Development Team by hiring a PHP Web Application Developer. The ideal candidate must be quality-focused and have documented knowledge of and experience with Web Application Development in PHP utilizing CakePHP, Laravel or CodeIgniter MVC framework. NOTE: This position is office-based; telecommuting is not possible.
Primary Responsibilities
Work closely with the Development Team Leader during all development efforts
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Dev Ops, UI/UX Developer, and Architect to ensure requirements and deadlines are met
Quickly address roadblocks to include performance analysis and constant evaluation of program effectiveness
Analyze and solve problems with a fully defined plan of action
Ability to comfortably conduct both digital and in-person support and presentations
Serve as back up to the Development Team Leader, as required
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or other closely-related technology curriculum from an accredited college/university
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience developing Web Applications
Experience creating and maintaining enterprise applications using CakePHP, CodeIgniter or Laravel MVC framework
Experience with JIRA, MySQL, Linux, SaaS applications, C#, SoapUI and nginx
Knowledge of integrating SaaS products with third party APIs
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, HTML5, Accounting and eCommerce
Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
Knowledge of a CRM or similar business applications a plus
