Job Title: Sr. PHP Developer (with Laravel)

Location: Atlanta, GA (West Mid-town)
Thompson Technologies is seeking an experienced PHP Developer that can be the main go-to PHP Developer for our client located in West Midtown. This is a small development team of 3 Engineers. Our client has already transitioned to PHP/Laravel from Classic ASP, and looking for someone to continue those efforts. This person will support the existing Senior Developer with the production, modification, and maintenance of the Company's websites, backend production systems, and support tickets. This individual should possess excellent analytic and problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail. The ability to take direction well and collaborate with a team is required.
REQUIREMENTS:

- Ability to perform as a responsible ESOP owner.
- Minimum of 5 years PHP experience.
- Experience with Laravel Framework.
- Technical Lead Experience.
- VB/VBScript experience.
- Experience with Bootstrap, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax, JQuery and PHP.
- Experience working with relational databases (SQL, MySQL).
- Web Services experience preferred.
- Experience and understanding of accounting and financial systems preferred.
- Overtime and weekend hours required as needed.
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize effectively, to work on multiple tasks simultaneously, to work under pressure, and to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both in isolation and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent in experience.
