Thompson Technologies is seeking a WordPress Developer (Backend) for a 3 month contract in Atlanta, GA.  Our client offers a fun work environment, beautiful office space in Buckhead, and works on high-transaction websites. This position sits onsite 5 days a week. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in WordPress - specifically understand how to move content from database to database, understand plugins, and configure administration functionality etc.? This is NOT a visual design role.

They should be proficient with:

• WordPress the application
• PHP programming skills
• Plugin Architecture and Management
• Publishing and MySQL Database
• Visual design capacity and content management
