What You’ll Do
As the Software Engineer for backend systems, you will have the opportunity to:
- Bring
high problem solving and creativity to build scalable web backend systems
- Build
and improve database architecture and optimize existing queries
- Develop
and optimize efficient algorithms directly related to core systems
- Integrate
API structure with client partners and other entities
- Ensure
proper technical design and quality standards are upheld
- Assist
in building technology teams (future)
What You’ll Need
You’ll need a healthy number of the below for stronger consideration:
- MS or
BS in Computer Science
- 5+
years of exposure to general software engineering principles
- Technical
Stack of web technologies includes PHP, Python, CakePHP, REST, Node.js, Git
- Deep SQL
knowledge and relational database conceptualization
- Knowledge
of AWS
- SOFT
SKILL - Quickly comprehend, analyze, and improve existing code
- SOFT
SKILL - Creative problem solving and algorithmic solution development with efficiency
in mind

SKILL - Security principles including SSL protocols and data encryption
