Responsibilities
This is an incredible opportunity to be in a hands-on development position working on large scale, high-visibility digital, web and mobile web sites and applications. In this role, you will contribute heavily to new and existing development with exposure to learn new technologies. The ideal web developer will understand web development practices including client and server side implementations, browser-to-server page rendering behaviors, web caching, page speed optimization and regular expression usage.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or related)
- 5+ years of web development experience using various object-oriented programming languages and technologies
- 2+ years of PHP development
- MySQL
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript and/or XML/JSON
- Must be a true technologist with the excitement to learn new technologies
- Team-driven with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Preferred
- Experience with any open source PHP frameworks (Cake PHP, Zend, Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony2, or Kohana)
- Experience with responsive web design
- Test Driven Development experience
- AWS
- Custom Module Development
- Experience working with large-scale, high-visibility websites
