Hello Everyone!

I’m a Technical Recruiter here in Atlanta, working with a client in the Cobb Galleria / Cumberland Mall area who is seeking an additional Web / PHP Developer to join their growing team. I have listed more details regarding this role for your convenience.

Title: Web / PHP Developer
Duration: Direct Hire/Permanent
Location: Atlanta, GA (Cumberland Mall / Vinings / Cobb Galleria)

Want to work with a non-profit organization that is looking to add an experienced PHP/Web Developer to their growing team? This is part of a small team, so you will get the chance to do more than coding and will be involved in things such as proto-tying, design phase, etc. Everything in their environment is hosted on Amazon Web Services so you can stand up test servers in a matter of minutes! To be successful in this role, you will need to have working knowledge using the LAMP stack as well as expertise in HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and JavaScript is essential.

Job Duties / Requirements:

  • Designs and constructs web pages/sites including incorporating graphic user interface (GUI) features and other techniques
  • Maintains and provides ongoing design of the website, promos and ad banners, seasonal content specials, and custom chat launcher design for trading partners
  • Ensure efficient operation and performance of applications, both custom and third-party, by analyzing problems, making recommendations, designing, coding, testing and documenting processes
  • Develop integration by extracting, transforming, and loading data (ETL) between web applications and other internal and third party applications
  • Ensure compliance to company programming standards by conducting reviews of proposed process changes and code reviews throughout the life of applications
  • Assist in vendor negotiations and service contract development to ensure the most cost-effective and favorable terms
  • Must have bachelor’s degree OR equivalent certifications required with minimum five (5) years progressive experience in developing and supporting websites and web applications.
  • Working knowledge using the LAMP stack as well as expertise in HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and JavaScript is essential.
