The School of Computing at the University of Kent is currently advertising an exciting and innovative interdisciplinary research project lead by Dr Peter Rodgers (Computing) and Dr Benjamin Vis (Classical and Archaeological Studies). We are looking for an enthusiastic PhD student with advanced software development skills. The ideal candidate would also have experience with spatial data and a general interest in the archaeological and urban studies expert uses of the diagrammatic visualisations this project will develop.

Applications to this project would qualify for a three year funding award from the Computational Intelligence group covering home/EU fees and a stipend. (http://www.cs.kent.ac.uk/research/studyingforaphd/phd-compint.html)
