What's the deal with the hidden device-browser on port 8889??
It's pretty dangerous that anyone can access the files on my device while I'm using the WiFi-Editor, can you please password-protect it or make it possible to disable this feature?

It seems like a reasonable request.
The device-browser should only be running on a device with a premium subscription, or perhaps that has changed?
If you are seeing it on a premium device, I would recommend posting your request in the Premium group.

yea i have not premium and i dont see the browse files/folder in the droidscript folder..

The device browser is part of the Premium version of DS and it is accessible from the WiFi IDE. It should be password protected just like the Wifi IDE and use the same password. Maybe you have disabled your password?
Please let us know if you find that it is not password protected.
