Why <input type="file"> is not working in html apps or in webview?

Hi Durga

Doing a quick Google search, it looks like we'd have to do some extra work in DroidScript to handle file uploads within WebView:

If this is something you need, please add it to the 'Tell us what you want' thread.

Otherwise perhaps Steve's File Picker could be suitable alternative?

Hi Chris,

Yes. You are right. I have already gone through this. Issue is we don't have option to modify the generated files (xml and other apk files), once apk is created.

Steve's alternative file picker is good. But I was trying to achieve with the built in filepicker(because most of us familiar with the inbuilt file picker)

Probably I will post in tell us what we want thread. But I'm not sure how soon Droidscript team can able to add this (I know its not so easy to add to Droidscript)
