I had this idea and wanted to seek comments about it;
With the availability of NFC & Android Beam feature in Android, sharing the ME contacts between compliant phones would add value and enhance the entire experience. Use case scenario: Consider Android Beam is active in 2 handsets and the ME contact is duly filled in each of these handsets. When these 2 devices come in range close to each other then the respective ME contacts would be automatically exchanged. A ME contact from one handset would be transmitted to the other handset and would be saved as a contact in it. The contacts can be shared even if the handset is in locked state or when the handsets are screen unlocked considering security issues when in home screen or launcher.
Created a feature request @ https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=35018
Uh, 'automatically exchanged'? If that was a feature, I'd buy an iPhone the day it was announced.
With 20+ million devices doing this, your device would explode.
Sorry, this sounds like it needs more thought.
