Sharing "ME" contact using Android Beam as Contact/Card Exchange

I had this idea and wanted to seek comments about it;

With the availability of NFC & Android Beam feature in Android, sharing the ME contacts between compliant phones would add value and enhance the entire experience.

Use case scenario:
Consider Android Beam is active in 2 handsets and the ME contact is duly filled in each of these handsets. When these 2 devices come in range close to each other then the respective ME contacts would be automatically exchanged. A ME contact from one handset would be transmitted to the other handset and would be saved as a contact in it.    
The contacts can be shared even if the handset is in locked state or when the handsets are screen unlocked considering security issues when in home screen or launcher.

That feature request is really short, :-/ ...

Feature requests with a little more attention to implementation
details are more likely to be considered for implementation. (Read:
it's you against a large engineering team, and helps if you make your
case a little better)

Uh, 'automatically exchanged'? If that was a feature, I'd buy an iPhone the day it was announced.

With 20+ million devices doing this, your device would explode.

I tried to implement something like this as a research prototype a few
years ago, but since we didn't have NFC we were using Bluetooth which
was a real bear on power consumption..

I have re-arranged the steps to cover security concerns and interpretation of "automatically exchanged".

Steps:
a. Ensure that NFC and/or Android Beam is enabled 

b. "ME" profile is duly filled 

1. If screen is locked using slide/pattern/PIN/etc., unlock it 

2. Ensure that the device has home screen or launcher as active screen 

3. Bring 2 NFC enabled devices in close proximity to each other 

4. Now detection of NFC device by each device, the ME profile would be exchanged 

5. The device receiving ME profile would save it as a contact in People (phonebook)
