Hi All,

What is the recommended way of detecting Android/ARM, Android/x86 and
to a lesser extent (for me) Android/Mips?

From the looks of it, we can detect Android/ARM using __ANDROID__ and
__ARM_EABI__. Is that correct?

__ANDROID__ is always predefined by the toolchain when targetting Android.
__arm__ -> for ARM 32-bit devices (but not 64-bit ARMv8 a.k.a AARCH64)
__i386__ -> for x86 ones.
__mips__ -> for MIPS ones.

__ARM_EABI__ should always be defined on Android/ARM as well. It could be undefined for old Linux/ARM toolchains though, but the code they generate would probably not run on Android.

Hope this helps
