Need advise on purchasing equipment

I`m planning on purchasing new equiptment soon and I wanted to check if
someone allready has some experience with my desired setup or has some
advice on alternativ products.
Here my setup:
Dual PIII 600Mhz
+512 MB RAM
4 GB System HD SCSI
2x +18 GB Video HD SCSI
CD-ROM
DVD-R
Grafikkarte Matrox G-400
2 x 19" Monitor
miro DV 500
Soundblaster Live
S-VHS VCR Pannasonic NV-HS850 EG
As an alternative to the DV 500 I was thinking about an Matrox RT2000 or a
DV 1000.
It`s important that my Systems has both digital and analog I/O since we will
be capturing from S-VHS / VHS & miniDV (Panasonic NVDS99).
I would apriciate all replies.
