Does anyone know the history of the word 'Usonan'? It is an
invented word derived from 'United States Of North America'.
The word was created because there was no precise word to
describe a citizen of the U.S.A. It didn't seem to catch on
in English, but it is the source of the Esperanto words
Usono, usona, usonano.

The architect Frank Lloyd Wright used the term "Usonian" for certain types of
buildings and for his various ideal communities. It supposedly derived from
"USA."
