Today was much better as I was more prepared than my spur of the moment idea
to go yesterday.
First off got to meet a couple of the lovely ladies of ATXF outside in line,
and thanks for bringing up the Alexandria/Annapolis thing with RB.
Inside I finally got to meet Lauracap, who brought me up to speed on the
events of the previous day and the WUDEC party Saturday night. I can't wait to
find out when the documentary you guys got in is going to air. Only you guys
could get a camera crew to show up at your party. Sorry I didn't get to meet
Gizzie on Sunday, but congrats again on your presentation to Nick, Saturday.
Today started with X (SW) pretty much same presentation with a few
differences.
Then came Rob. Again I loved his presentation. Lauracap was going to tape it
and post so I'll leave that for her.
Next was DH , who I missed on Saturday, and am sorry I did, as he was the
most entertaining, quick witted fellow around. His show is all you've heard
about on the NG and more. He rocks!!!!
Then thanks to my sister for getting me a poster in the auction, which got
us backstage to meet everyone , but Steven who left.
Dean , Nick and Rob were sitting upstairs in the comfy backstage area
signing stuff for the 10 or so of us backstage. Didn't get much of a chance to
talk to Nick as he had to head out for his presentation, but he said to hang
backstage and he'd see us after, so we did.
Dean was very cool guy, even funnier one on one than in front of crowds.
Rob too was very nice, asked him about the internet, and he swears, he and the
rest of the guys do read the NG frequently. I expressed my admiration for his
work and chatted with him a bit about how things were sequensed on movie etc...
Then he had to go, so he signed my poster and included a line from movie from
WMM that he said is the biggest clue he's given and said he'd be checking to
see
if I posted it.
SEE RB I told you I wouldn't.......
But I will say it bursts Mulder's bubble.
Hung around till Nick was done, (had a blast with the tall blond security
guard
ripping into the girl up front, flashing "meet for dinner at 6" signs to Nick.)
Nick was still bumming about Canada being eliminated from the Stanley Cup
tournament again.... Asked why we have such low key fans in DC, from the Caps
game he went to Friday, tried to explain it , but who can really. Then he got
rushed to autograph session (yes, the group backstage held him up, sorry) and I
had to jet, so..
Thats about it, all in all a much better time.(obviously)
Once again, I hope you can figure out and decipher theses incoherent ramblings.

I just want to add that I heard this guy about 5 people ahead of me on
the line to get into the EXPO talking about travel time from Maryland to
Va. and I wanted to yell up to him, "Hey, are you Dstrbed?" but I
thought *everyone* on the line would yell back, "Yeah, what's it to you,
girly!" or something like that....

But, I was right it was him and I got to sit with him and his sister in
the front row today to hear Rob and Steven.
