kass, mighty mighty annoyed right now
I'll vouch for ya Kass (Not that you probably need me to!) I read Out of the
Dark a LONG time ago, probably at around the time you first posted it I would
guess. It was one of the first ever fics I read and I loved it....in fact I
have a sudden urge to go re-read it!
Where is it archived these days?
On a side note, I think that it's inevitable now, that with the volume of fic
out there that parallels will occasionally be drawn with someone else's work.
It doesn't necessarily mean that any dishonesty was involved and maybe people
shouldn't be so quick to jump to conclusions. It could happen to any one of
us. I'm just coming to the end of a 24 chapter case file and I chose not to
post it as a wip - one of my own personal versions of hell is for someone to
have had the same premise for the case file and post thier story the week
before mine!
okay - it's unlikely to happen, but this is TXF after all........

This is insane, as OoTD was posted long before either of these writers started
posting. If there *is* influencing (beats me, as I've never read the works
of either author)... logically, it can only be the other way around.
Kate
someone is under a misapprehension.

FWIW Kass, sometimes when dealing with people like this, I find it helpful
to remember that Sturgeon's Law can be applied to humanity as well as
books.
