I think I saw hamdingers on the menu at a Denny's once. That's all I
know. (cr...@nip1.em.cdc.gov).

Answer's in the FAQ. What? You don't have the FAQ? Hmm... well,
basically, they are stuff served in the 50s that was supposed to be
hamburger like but actually was unedible... like the first TV dinners...

Anyone from Wisconsin knows:

Hamdingers,
Hamdingers,
Hamburgers, made from Ham...

Basically, ham patties.

Unfortunately, I don't remember whether they were/are an Oscar Mayer or a
Patrick Cudahy product.

If you've ever been (or ever go) to Denny's resturuant, check the menu. I
don't know if there are Denny's across the country, but it is a pretty popular
item there. Not! Actually its just a crappy ham sandwitch with something
that makes it even worse. As you can see, no one would want to open a box
marked "hamdingers" especially if they've been sitting around for 5.12
seasons!

I'm from Wisconsin... and I'd never heard of them. I shudder to think such a
product could have spawned there.

I think the school bully in grade school was named Patrick Cudahy... I don't
want to know what he produced!
