West Coasters, and others reading this Update, chew on this: Last night's ep
did a 18.3 rating and a 27 share in the Nielsen Overnights! And chew on these
things that happened PREVIOUSLY ON MILLIONAIRE:
The way the game went yesterday, it could have been a revival of The $64,000
Question... Jeff Wilkie and Ken Hesser pick up checks for $64,000, and they
did it the same way Paul Lassiter did - by guessing! Educated, but guessing
none the less.
Meanwhile, our own Jason Block, or as some have said, Matt Marcotte's
long-lost twin brother, has steamrolled through 9 questions. The next question
he tackles will be for a guaranteed $32,000. We shall see how he does as we
start with another episode of...

Jason Block has brought his grandmother, who is an amazing 100 years old. He's
also brought his girlfriend Sharon, who he's been with for 8 years.

I wouldn't say "sure". 85 & 87 are only two years apart, and Moonlighting and
Miami Vice started around the same time, those two theme songs are what might
have tricked a few people.
it was really cool to see him on the show
Certainly not true. We look nothing alike. (Although our mannerisms
were (at times) similar, I thought he took it to another level. My
responses were out of nervousness/humor, while his (particularly on his
misguided attempt to name all the justices of the Supreme Court) seemed
to be more oriented toward showing off.) I still enjoyed him, though.
He was a refreshing change from what's been a pretty personality-free
hotseat run so far this series. I woulda had to use a lifeline on the
sports question early on, but from there on up (including the Rock and
Roll Hall of Fame question), I was pretty much clear.

Not to mention Moonlighting and Miami Vice were just about as big around the
same era (Miami Vice premiered in September 1984, Moonlighting in February
1985, and I think they both went off the air in 1989), but Miami Vice's theme
was released as a single in the summer of 1985, whereas Moonlighting's theme
didn't come out as a single until two years later.

I mean, this is getting Ruthian at this point! Anyone who has a

Oh good grief!! For 32 thousand?? That might be a $1,000 clue. I
mean, no offense, but that's about of the level of the freezing
temperature of water [which I believe was also a 32K question...]. I

At that point, given the split, I'd have gone with Aretha. It happened
