I think a story may still crop up, JoAnn - I am *definitely* inspired by
that peice of art!!! The minimum bid on it was $250 and it went for $3500.
I don't know what in the world I was thinking of staying in it to that point
(well, I guess I do know what I was thinking of ;) but am glad that Jamie
got some good value for his work. Even before the bidding on the original
began, I had entered my order for 7 (yes 7!!!!) copies of that print in
various sizes, so I'll still get to enjoy it, though it won't quite be the
same :< Oh well, now Jamie knows what it is we're looking for ;>

get approval from Jamie to have a copy of the print in the zine for this
purpose, since he didn't sell the copyright.

great to augment that with other artists renditions based on the individual
stories.

I really think this is a good idea for the next zine. Which, by the way, I
think a deadline of April 1, 1999 sounds good. Pat didn't have any trouble
getting Jamie's okay to use one of his pictures for her zine. However, I
don't want to use it on the cover as she did. I want to stick with the
cyber theme for the cover.

For all of those with itchy fingers that want to get writing, (or those
that just want to see this really hot picture :-), Jackie is going to
download it to my computer tomorrow. Email me privately and I'll send it to
you. Give me a couple of days, though, since I don't get home until
Saturday night and need to spend some time with my family.

only change the number, for continuities sake. And the whole zine may not
be 'She Calls' stories (though who knows, it might ;) But it could be a
whole section at least, and then it would be great if that section were led
off with Jamie's picture and a brief discussion of it and how the stories
came about.

She is going to scan it from my 4x6 picture. We've already been to Jamie's
page and it isn't there yet. :-(

I checked it out last night. "Afterglow" literally took my greath away!!
WOW!!!!! That piece is BEAUTIFUL!!! And I've never seen such a perfect job
of capturing Linda Hamilton's "essence." There's something about her - in her
eyes, I think - that nobody can seem to quite "get". Jamie certainly "got
it" in that one!!!! <VBG>
