Just a quick note that AOL has once again stopped sending me newsgroup
postings. Not sure why, and not sure when they will resume again. But FAFIA for
the moment. Pearly is happy about this, since she gets more attention when I am
not at the keyboard.

Still here in the UK replying to see if you see this post. My server seems
to have good days and bad days but yesterday surprisingly was a good one.
Unfortunately I was nowhere near my computer to note this fact.Such is life.
Good luck to Pearly she deserves the attention.

I just acronym-finders'ed FAFIA and got nothing. Then I googled it and
got Feminist Alliance For International Action, which, somehow, just
doesn't fit. I give up, Harry. What's FAFIA?

Was same here Harry. I called and complained an hour ago. The tech said I was
the first to notify them of a problem.

Someone on another newsgroup just posted that they were not getting any
new posts, that person is also on AOL. I don't know about AOL, but
Comcast will tell us that there is no problem, when we know there is
one.

If AOL is having a problem, this would account for the lower then
average amount of posts.

Where did you get a phone number???...I'd love to have it, the old one I had
doens't work...

I had the same problem with the newsgroups, but they're BAaaaaack!!!

I came back from the foot doctor at 3 PM, and I now seem to be getting
newsgroup postaings again. Not sure how many messages were lost, however.

I'm still somewhat disorganized after the resumption of messages, and I think I
deleted a posting that I wanted to reply to, asking me what FAFIA meant.
