New meter & strips

Over the years, the Medicare suppliers have moved to ever
cheaper meters and test strips. The last time it was to start
providing True Metrix strips and meter. This time I was
told that there were too many errors with True Metrix,
and this paralleled my experience, with sometimes as
many as 3 to 4 "E6" errors in the test strips per
vial, that means 6 to 8 % of the strips were defective,
but not always. So they sent me a new meter and strips.

We'll have to see how long this lasts. There is such a thing
as "too cheap" and I think they hit that mark already.

No offense, but AFAIR you used to know your way around news/NetNews,
Usenet, etc.. If so, you would know that message-IDs are not useless.
They or may be of no use to *you*, but in general, they're not useless.

Whether or not the referenced articles contain the quoted material is
another matter. I've not checked, because it's not worth it.

Unfortunately, it is looking that way. When I scan the headers in
this group it seems like it's devolved into one or two people
spamming/trolling it. Very little of the useful information I used
to see here is apparent lately. I have to wonder how this has
happened.

There are always trolls around. Their impact is great when there's
