This clearly is valuable material for countering Scientology's attempt
to rewrite history, and absolve Hubbard from his complicity in the GO's
criminal activities.

I believe all of the documents that RIX has been postings was part of
the FBI's 1980 criminal case filing. Reportedly, the files were sealed
sometime in the 1980's. I'm sure many people obtained copies before they
were sealed.

I hope that someone will web of these documents and perhaps RonIsXenu
could post a brief summary of the history of these documents. I'm
curious if Church attornies will assert LRH's original copyrights on
this material, as they have on all other materials?

You called? Try http://www.entheta.net/go/go.htm for a collection
of 200+ GO documents - the largest on the Web by far, and there's
more to come.

The documents aren't sealed. What happened was that the FBI seized
over 100,000 pages of material in their July 1977 raids against the
CoS. Of the 47,000+ documents they took, about half were sealed
because of their personal nature (pc folders and the like). The
other half - something over 20,000 - were released to the public and
to the best of my knowledge are still available from the United States
District Court for the District of Columbia.

I'm no expert on US copyright law but the situation as I understand
it is that the CoS *can't* make any claims of copyright in this case
(otherwise they could have sued the US Dept of Justice for istributing
the GO papers). They were used as Federalevidence in a successful criminal
case and *have* to be available, as they are not under seal.

Wow, just visited that site, a really outstanding job on putting it
together and the image quality is great.

This is a must visit site for all Scientologists, past and present. And
it certainly nullifies at of Miscavige's phony PR that Hubbard was not
involved in the operation of the GO crime ring.
