Okay, I'm all for the US getting justice for what has been done, but killing
bin Laden outright is only going to make him a martyr at this point. I'm
not sure what else can be done but look at the reaction to the Timothy
McVeigh execution. To have the President come out and say that killing him
is okay just doesn't sit well with me.

Well if he is dead then there will be more pop up true - but if he is
left live and kicking then he will just organise more terror.

There is no easy way out

Yeh I know. That's what I meant by "I'm not sure what else can be done". I

Well it looks more and more like the European countries and Russia
will help the USA bring whoever is responsible to justice but are
balking at a fullscale war. Seems to me that Bush is the only one
calling out for a full scale war. If he seems bent more on revenge
than justice I wonder if the other supporters will back out. It will
be the USA Britain and Us against the middle east - and that is a
scary thought!

It is strange, esp considering that had the US done that in 1993 when he
first bombed the WTC, chances are that his place in history would *not* have
been taken by someone else with not only the fanaticism but the income to
make this happen.

Assasination is a justifiable weapon of state in some circumstances.

Blood money is certainly not an issue. But his personal wealth & income,
enable *him* to bring to bear his ideas. He is supposed to be worth about
500,000,000 US$. And he is focused on being a shit rather than buying all

The anomaly of it all, is the fact, that Western culture balks at taking
lives ad hock, yet we are dealing with people who have no respect for human
life, their own or others, and have no problems with the concept of mass
killing.

died his inheritence was 3 billion!!! That's just his share!!!

Even John couldn't spend all that on toys!!

probably a sense of 'justice..... it's easy for us to imagine he
should have his day in court with the opportunity to defend himself
and his point of view....

.... but can you imagine the things he'd say if he had proper access
to the media... AND they were willing to report his words in full?

From the yanks perspective it would be far better that he die unheard.

excuse my paranoia, but there is something VERY fishy going on
here.... I can't put my finger on it but it all looks very sus.

There is an economic downturn forecast in the states.... Bush
disappears from the White House for a month... the first Pres. ever to
do that.... I'm told his father has 'connections' with the arms
industry.... there is a 'ready made' terrorist organisation/leader
waiting to be a scapegoat..... there is a country to weak by far to
resist any attack by the yanks.... no real hard evidence has been
released connecting the terrorist leader or the country to the
attack....

... there is no doubt more.... but that will come out in the next few
weeks... but there seems to be a pattern emerging.

So you're OK with mass killing via bombing shit out off the place, but
squirm at the thought of a nice, neat 'extraction'?
You're right, that is strange!! :-)

The only way the Coalition is going to get all the 'rats' is to send the rat
hunters into the holes. Other wise you can bomb the shit out of a place
until the cows come home, and not make a dent in the rat population.

So you say!! Convenient that there is no written record of it and *all* other
sources state that the Taliban have consistantly claimed that Bin Laden is
"wrongly implicated". Makes your claim untrue. Whether that makes you a liar

You originally stated "Taliban acknowledged today bin Laden was involved.". I
still say they have never acknowledged that. Their Clerics some half a day
ago announced they wanted him to leave the country. They still say he was
"not involed". Their "requesting that he leave" may be read by some that he
is guilty as charged, BUT THEY HAVE NEVER SAID SO, and not a day and a half
earlier as you falsely claimed.
Admit that at best you've twisted the truth. Takes a good man to do that.
Are you a good man?

> Did you comprehend that? Therefore, what you may have failed

Most "twisters of the truth" use this argument.....

For the record, I'm not defending either the Taliban or bin Laden. I think
they are as guilty as hell and deserve whatever punishment that is thrown at
them. This doesn't mean we put words in their mouths!

No, Hysterical Nancy of the Overflowing sewer was just referring to my use
of the word 'Raghead'.

You have to understand JG, there are people on here much the same as Peter
Mackay (remember him?). They feel that as they are the self proclaimed "old
timers" of the ng, they can do and say whatever they want, but everyone else
has to tow the line and wait until they get their official clearance to
behave the way they do.
But Mr NNC Overflow(a very cheap store here)Nancy, is just getting all
hysterical because it's replying to me. He/she/it is a bit of a drama queen
in those cases :-)

To quote your own previous post.

>Why? Does it upset your delicate sensitivities? You can call people
whatever
>you like, but no-one else is allowed to, right?

So in other words you can say the above, but it doesn't apply in reverse?

Here's a news flash:
UseNet wasn't put in place for you & you only to have a point of view.

You can call me anything you like, I have heard it all before, I make no
pretences to be anything other than what I am: Belligerent & intolerant,
heading the list, or so I am constantly told.
One thing I am not though, is a racist bigot, unlike yourself.

Plus I have never made the claim to be an "old timer" of this newsgroup.
Perhaps you could have familiarised yourself with the dynamics of this
group, before you started shooting of your rather large mouth.

BTW your over use of the words "drama queen" intrigues me. Something
Freudian there.

Clancy's relatively 'new' .. he just blends in well.
And I too wonder about the 'queen' references....... don't tell me -

Peter's an old grunt and he's OK.
He types all night and he fights all day

he carries a gun
he wears high heels
suspenders and a bra
he wishes he was a girlie ...
just like his dear papa ;)
