A dramatization showing the Biblical account:

1) God creates man
2) Sin enters in, separates man from God
3) God enters in, separates sin from man, restoring man to God

Peter,

All Christians point people to Jesus Christ. They were saved from
their sin, restored to spiritual life (eternal life), released from
judgment, and they know how that change has rewritten their entire
life.

Christians want everyone to be saved, Peter, just as Jesus does.
So, we reach out with teachings about Him.

Not everyone receives it. We don't know who will or who won't, so
we reach out equally to all ... even to our enemies.

It is the love Jesus Christ gives us at work within us that overcomes
our flesh. We move in love, in teaching about Him. We remain
focused on that goal because this world is no longer our Home. We
just live here for a while, but we know to be absent from the body
is to be present with the Lord, which is greater by far.

Jesus will forgive your sin and give you eternal life, Peter.
Just ask Him to.

:-) Clever. :-)

But considering what it cost Him ... it might fall short of acknowledging
the true weight and cost of sin.

Ever see Passion of the Christ? That's just a portrayal of what He took
physically in His body. He still had to die with our sin, and go before
God to be punished for it.

The Bible records it crushed Him.

Can you imagine that? A power so great it crushed God?u

People who don't ask forgiveness and repent will feel that crushing in
Hell forever. It can't be overstated how important Jesus is to our lives.
