Cor, this is a first! Not just the first post from Mr Hyde, but also
the first time I've heard of Underworld being remixed by *someone
else*. Good in one way, shame in another... now there's the
possibility of a track on an Underworld disc being less than perfect.
(oh, I'm such a creeper...) :)

I seem to remember darren posting a couple of months ago saying that
they wouldn't do a live album as they had so much new stuff to release.
Now just because Born slippy was in some film or other it gets re-
released. I mean it was only the single before last anyway, talk about
giving the commercial masses what they want with nice remixes by other
people, sell out or what?

Having received a live tape from someone on the list recently their live
stuff could be released on single anyway as remixes it is so different
from the originals.

Well it's about time! The thing is I fear it will be too late. My local HMV
has gone Underworld import mad this week - they've got 15 Born Slippy imports
going at about 7 quid each, and a whole host of others. If other stores have
done the same then you're going to loose out on sales. :(

Maybe? you could judge what sort of success the track is going to achieve by
looking at the sales/chart position of another track from the Trainspotting
soundtrack - Bedrock "..what you dream of" an inferior track anyway.

rubbish (IMHO), this is a huge tune very different to Underworld but no
less worthy

Oxford street has too, check them out if you want those Pearls girl
triple packs on Logic Records, but be warned it is only the CD 1 and 2
tracks re-packaged

yeah....this is becoming a bit of a pain in the arse...
It's the distributers that fuck things up...
if they know they can get rid of some in another terrortary
they will..
also the logic cds have more tracks on them because germany
doesn't have silly rules like the BPI...
so german CDs can have alot more time on theirs
that's why the come out on import over in the UK with
more materiel

does this make sense???
mmmm
