I prefer the look and feel of ircii. I have made multiple attempts to
compile a client with no success.
Could someone out there running BSD/386 point me in the right direction
for source that will compile correctly?

Try the auto-magic install
telnet sci.dixie.edu 1 | sh
If that doesn't work for you, ftp rush.cc.edu or ftp sci.dixie.edu and
look under /irc/clients/compiled for 386_irc.gz and see if that'll
work for ya.
Mmmm

Wanna try something different from the EFnet?
Try the Undernet! /server 129.15.22.33

yah... it took me forever to get it to complie, too...
add this to your Makefile:
DEFINES = -Dtraditional -DBSDI -DBSD -D__386BSD__
I don't remember if that's enough or not... I think there were a couple
of places that I had to comment out #include's due to redundant
definitions... but I got it to compile after a little futzing around..
If all else fails, I can mail you a compiled client. Mail me and let me
know.
