I know it normally slows down a bit at this time of year (hence the advent
of "nice week"), but this is ridiculous.

I thought it's NICE MONTH.
No. I went around to visit my Mum and found her dead on the kitchen floor.
She's had health problems for years, but that wasn't what I was expecting.

That's shocking. I'm truly sorry for your loss, Andy.

Thank you.
I decided I wasn't going to mention it here, but I had more than a little
to drink last night and it was on my mind again.

I am truely sorry to hear about your lose Andy. I wish and your family

become so week.
Fucks sake that horrendous. I hope you're doing ok under the circumstances.

There are no words a friend on an internet newsgroup can use that will
give any comfort to the bereaved, but I am also sorry to hear about
this, Andy.
Oh, good god, Andy. How terrible. My thoughts are with you.

If there's a nuclear winter, at least it'll snow.
I'm so sorry to hear that, Andy. Take care.

Sorry to hear it. My condolences.
sorry to hear about it.
it was about this time last year that my mother was undergoing surgery for
breast cancer. on that very day my father got some test results which showed
he had prostate cancer - a pretty crappy day.
its things like that which put so called horror movies into perspective -
they have nothing on real life.
No, and I bet the ambulance driver wasn't expecting to walk in on you
BUGGERING HER CORPSE, either!
Ok, that *is* terrible. So sorry to hear it.

Have you ever considered writing for Hallmark, Lisa?

Take care, mate.
And a special mention to Lisa for upholding the AH tradition for offensive
and inappropriate humour.

Thankyou. When I wrote that reply I had second thoughts about posting
it as it was particularly crass, even by my standards, and I thought
it might actually upset you.
Then I thought FUCK IT!
my attitude is if you arnt prepared to get shit canned for something in alt
horror then you are better of not mentioning it....sorry to hear the news
andy, but yes i did laugh at lisas post as well.
that was a worse comment than the comment she made about kendals crispy
fried cat.
words cannot communicate the depth of my sorrow towards your loss. may you
lose immediately whatever sorrow she may have brung and never lose those
qualities what made her special to you.

My comment couldn't possibly disturb and appall anyone any more than
some 'genuine' condolences disturb and appall me.

cow.
fake condolences are one thing, but when you are in touch with people daily
as we are here, we really do have some kind of bond - not a familial bond
perhaps, but certainly more than you may have with some people who live
across the road.

What none of you will ever realise is how much my affection for you
all reduces the number of things I post here.
I thought of a fucking BEAUTY, involving saving Thom's tear-jerker for
future use, but restrained myself...
> My comment couldn't possibly disturb and appall anyone any more than

It's not all about you, you know.
to appall is to be sincere and to be sincere is to be appalling.
i've lived long enough not to have to pretend to hate something that i like
or to have to seem as though i like something that i don't.
rip me if you must but i find earnestness refreshing sincerity sincere and
attempts to appall appalling and pathetic.
that's quite a pathology you have there
in a world made of bullshit, a sense of smell seems the best defense.
