In the late '90s I worked on a commercial with an older Asian actor who was
around during the '50s who told me some old Hollywood stories. One that
comes to mind is the story of Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis being bi, and how
Janet Leigh was really into the seamstresses on the lot, most of whom were
Asian women. He told me that the seamstresses would hide when they heard
that she was coming, because she was really aggressive. I remembered that
story well because Leigh is from my home town.

He lived in Fort Lauderdale in the 1970s, and he most certainly was gay then. He was famous for
cruising the "strip" on A1A for boys and once hit on one of my brothers while the cars they
were in were side-by-side at a stoplight.
