Please understand this: I communicate with you via another service - mail
seems quite fast, but conference messages can lag. This is not a
satisfactory state of affairs, I agree, but it will continue until I've got
the time and more importantly can find a helpful fellow creature who can
guide me through the intricacies of setting up something more direct.
One day I'll be dead and THEN you'll all be sorry.
Terry
Any plans on releasing the whole series on tape/CD?
Olav (still haven't read L&L) Kolbu

Oh no you won't. Your fans won't allow it.

"In general, the dance music of P.D.Q. Bach -- although we have no
documentary evidence of this -- suggests that one of his legs was
shorter than the other." -- Prof. Peter Schickele
Nah, our signed copies will be worth something then.
Heh, heh, I've always wanted to say that.
OB Something else
My favourite character has just changed to Greebo. (after reading Witches

But when that day comes, we Americans will still have six "new" books
left to read, over the following three years, and then we will laugh.
(uhh, Terry, I'm not making fun of your death, really, I'm, I'm...oh bugger,
you started it.)

Wet string - interesting concept, no wonder it's slow. Does the string
being wet increase the baud rate?
I heard the show + atmospherics + an annoying German radio station & I
quite enjoyed what I heard. I cannot understand the BBC hosting the show
on Radio 5. Past experience with other shows should have at least given
it a Radio 4 slot. Never mind, maybe next time ...
Maybe you could set up your own FTP site under the stairs, or in the
garage with a small digital exchange. Trouble is, you'd spend more
time administrating the system than writing books, & that wouldn't be
a satisfactory situation at all.
When you die, I wonder if DEATH will throw in a little something extra
as a sign of appreciation for the recognition given in your novels.
Well done in getting Neil Kinnock to play Carrot - excellent piece of
casting. Wondered what he'd been doing since he quit the labour party.
Can't wait for next weeks episode

I KNOW IT'S IRREGULAR, BUT IF I GAVE YOU ANOTHER FIFTY YEARS,
WOULD YOU DO ANOTHER ONE ABOUT ME, PLEASE ??

Question: Was the tape you recieved in stereo? If it was then this is
a good indication (I think) that the series may be released
on a commercial format. Or on failing that, may get broadcast
eventually on one of the FM stations.
