I want to be dumb just like you, BB.

Having mostly made decisions for myself based on what my heart felt was
best, I know that it's hard to make a convincing argument to another
person armed with not much besides a feeling.

That's why I admire your posts, you seem to have all your notes, in order,
and are able to assemble your thoughts on things so coherently. It seems to
me you address everything and then some. It's kinda awesome. That we agree
on everything I've seen so far doesn't hurt either.

What's your profession besides bumming at the beach, if you don't mind my
asking?

S-W-K:
A very large measure of the church world out there is about
"feeling" NOT scripture.

Yeah, but I'm so partial to the red print. I learned young to say "show me
where it says so in MY Bible" when something new to me was discussed.

I might've trusted Gene Scott's translations more than was wise, but I
don't think he got too far away from the intent of the scripture, at least
what I saw. My view was limited, I do admit.

SW, glad you enjoy my posts. I have never been shy about speaking my mind -
even though that is not always a quality that endears me to others.

Since you ask, currently, I am a web developer (web based data processing
applications over a database back end) both as an employee of a medium sized
firm and for my own clients. Before that I did some client/server stuff, a
bit of management for a while and was an officer in the US Navy (got out
after the Gulf War - having gotten to go to the PG twice during my time in).
By training I am engineer/economist, although I never practiced in either
field, and since the Uncle was willing to pick up the tab, I got an MBA
after I left the service.

My non-work interests include history and politics. I post on AFGS since I
was a long distance Scott Watcher for many years and am interested in
reading what others who came in contact with "Planet Scott" have to say.
Like most of the remote viewers, I had no idea what was going on in LA till
I started reading here. I know better than to believe everything that is
posted on this NG, but there is too much that has gone unanswered and too
much that has the "ring of truth" and too much that explains some of the
"oddities" that we saw on the broadcasts that gets posted here for it not to
have some basis in fact.

I am not a Doc-hater like some who post here, at this point he is a figure
more of sadness, disappointment and pity to me. Such a great waste of
potential, a ministry that began with such promise and ended in equal parts
tragedy and farce. I have no tolerance at all for Mel and her pretentious
strutting about, as if she was somehow entitled to the lifestyle she married
into. I believe that she is a liar who pretends to her office simply
because she sees it as a cash cow preferable to her prior life in the porn
industry. There is not one bit of gospel in her and she needs to be sitting
in a pew being taught rather than in a pulpit mis-leading and mis-treating
the flock. And she has an awful singing "voice" too.

Unfortunately, I spend very little actual time on the beach these days, two
full-time jobs does not leave a lot of time for "bumming".

Well, you do have your poop in neat piles, and it is fun to read, with good
information and some appropriate scriptures (more good information).

...from which I draw heavily upon in order to play nicely in the
sandbox with JV. But, alas, sometimes we do throw sand at each other.
Why, just the other day, he dared to sling logic at me.

So I took my reasoning, and with plastic sword in hand, drawed and
quartered him but good. He went down for the count. Then I jumped on
my skateboard and cruised on home only to find JV's benefactor had
called upon my benefactor.

The nerve, taking me for a Windsor. Not to worry. I'll be his
Huckleberry.

BFS, OTOH, what's he looking at? I've watched and watched and watched
and by golly, all I see is gas. Truth be told, the only thing our
resident Watcher needs to concern himself with is that break in the
wall.

My favorite poster is Judee77. Did you know she preaches to her
dustbunnies? I never knew anyone who did that. She's slightly fruity,
but I find it refreshing. Her posts are always so spot on! Actually,
though I've never told anyone, I think she's a genius.

Isn't it odd how she was able to type my thoughts like this? Is it not
brilliant how she snuck right into my post and flushed out what I
really wanted to say? Ah, she's a sly one, yes?

:)

(BB: Please take this in the spirit in which it was written: fruity
genius. Actually, I simply got a teasing bug up my netherlands and
couldn't resist.)

So "1=3 And 3=1" strikes you as someone who has all his notes in order
and assembles highly coherent thoughts?

Hmmm...you must be on the same mind-bending drugs that he is.

BB: (1) (3) (3)

Poor Jon, just can't stop arguing even when there is nothing to argue about.

I do too Judee. You seem to me to have alot of my kind of "from the heart"
reasoning and more than I do of eloquence.
:')

Oh I've read some of your posts too JV. From my heart, all I wish to
communicate to you is the raspberry noise.
If that is what you have to say to me (I'm on mind warping drugs)just
because I admire BB's arguments against someone who comes across like
he's
trying to exhort others to anarchy and fearfulness and strife and trouble
that's based on paranoia and conspiracy sites and misunderstood
scripture,
then :P~~~~ to you!
