HUGE TURNOUT EXPECTED FOR ED CONRAD MEMORIAL SERVICES .

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Rueters)
-- A massive turnout is expected
for memorial services in the Smithsonian
Rotunda on Tuesday to pay tribute
to the late Ed Conrad, the superhero
who donated his brain to science.
"We're expecting a sellout," said
Wayne Clough, the institution's
Secretary, head honcho and chief
bottle washer. "He was quite a gay
. . . I mean, GUY."
Clough revealed that Conrad
had specified in his Last Will and
Testament that certain individuals
should not be permitted to walk
past his casket despite their
crocodile tears.
They include Dick Cheney, Rush
Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly,
Sean "Ins" Hannity, George W. Bush,
Karl Rove, David Iain Greig, Jay Leno,
Sen. Joseph Lieberman, Paul PZ Myers,
Richard Dawkins, Rupert Murdoch and
Conan O'Brien.
Those who DO attend services
for the late Superhero are asked
to place cash -- preferably in
large unmarked bills -- in the
basket aside the coffin in lieu
of flowers.
Neither checks, credit cards
nor Paypal will be accepted,
a Smithsonian spokesman said.
The services are scheduled
to begin at 10 a.m. and Ed Conrad
is expected to be dumped into
the Potomac around 11:15,
unless there is ice on the river.
