I think I'm caught up now on 14 days, too
As predicted, at least 50% of my stuff is real crap, though
the exercise in creating that 3d acrylic paint effect in PS
without a plugin or Painter was an interesting learning
experience---(curves, layers, blend modes and restricted
blend ranges, if you care)
I found myself treating it as an intellectual exercise.
because I was having a massive creative "brownout" but I was
determined to do SOMETHING DIFFERENT. In addition
to the stated goals of the larger project, I've challenged
myself to explore techniques, subjects and color palettes
180 degrees different than my usual stuff. I'm hoping that,
by doing so, I'll find my way out of the damned predictable rut
I've been in of late.

I like your use of text instead of thumbnails on the main page.
Thumbnails would add nothing to this particular exercise and would
just take up space. People often include thumbnails thoughtlessly,
IMHO.

Is it just me? I think the graphic looks a little like a license
plate. Be sure to tell me if your browser doesn't have PNG support.
If you're willing to critique this webpage, I'll try to incorporate
some of your ideas into a revised page on day 7. I'm open-minded.
Day 7 needn't look anything like day 6. So don't hesitiate telling
me to start over from scratch if that's how you feel. Occasionally
I commit heresies such as frames, 1px borders around tables, etc.
The second week of the 14 days will probably be more about graphics
and web design, and less about collaborative art and SITO Gridcosm.
