Any conspiracy loonies care to respond?
ask the idiots at .john's ya fuckin' moron..... they're much more your
idiotic speed dipshit!
Carry on asshole!
Why would I ask those who agree with the documentary's findings you
stupid idiot.
Now that Healy has been heard does a sane person have a rebuttal to
the documentary's findings?
Doctor Shaw testified that Governor Connally had a 15 mm elliptical
wound of entry in the back, which he enlarged to 30 mm. This bullet
made a wound whose elliptical shape and longer dimension matched
President Kennedy's scalp wound.
So how do you explain your misstatement of the facts?
Herbert
we're still waiting for you to say something sensible moron..... now,
in this thread, Herbert has nailed your ass to the wall.... ya going
to whine the night away or are you going to nad up and show us your
snare drum? Or can you put two sane sentences together that doesn't
drip with lone nut bullshit? So, what is moron?
<snip lone nut lunacy>
-and- NO advertising there hon!
To clarify my point Herbert, this is Dr. Shaw's testimony before the
HSCA: [the Governor's back wound was] "just lateral to the right
[shoulder blade] close [to] the [armpit] yet has passed through the
latysmus [latissimus] dorsi muscle...the wound of entrance was
approximately [1.2 inches] in its longest diameter."
The fact that Dr. Shaw trimmed the jagged skin around the entrance is
NOT to imply that Dr. Shaw took his scapel and gouged out the entrance
making the wound itself larger than it initially was. What could
possibly be the reason for Dr. Shaw to dig out the entrance wound
making it larger than it actually was? Such a conclusion is silly and
devoid of logic or common sense. Therefore it was NOT the same size
as the wound on the back of Kennedy's head as you misstated.
How do you explain your distortion of the testimonial evidence Herbert?
>>> "Another point this excellent documentary ["Unsolved History -- JFK: Beyond The Magic Bullet"] established beyond any and all responable doubt is the fact that the bullet that struck Connally's back HAD to have struck something prior to hitting Connally to deflect it in such a manner as to create an elongated (keyhole) entrance wound." <<<
Absolutely. Great point. (A point always ignored, or skewed, by
conspiracy theorists, of course.)
And Dr. John K. Lattimer did tests in the 1970s for his book "Kennedy
And Lincoln" that even go beyond the 2004 SBT test done by the
Discovery Channel for "JFK: Beyond The Magic Bullet".
Dr. Lattimer's test proved (via several tests that he performed using
a Mannlicher-Carcano rifle) that the Western/Carcano bullet is a very,
very stable bullet that will rarely wobble or yaw in flight, UNLESS IT
STRIKES AN INTERVENING OBJECT.
Excerpt from John Lattimer's book:
"An oval hole in our simulated back of Connally was caused by
our test bullet that had first passed through a simulation of
Kennedy's neck, causing that bullet to wobble and start to tumble end
over end. Connally's wound of entry was elongated, like the one in the
center of [the test] target. The punctate round hole, with black
margins, of the type that always occurred when our test bullets struck
the Connally target without hitting something else first, can be seen
to the right of Connally's outline in the photograph [via Figure 106
on Page 265 of "Kennedy And Lincoln"]. These bullets never wobbled or
tumbled spontaneously; they were stable in their flight to the target
UNLESS THEY HIT SOMETHING ELSE FIRST [DVP's emphasis], such as
Kennedy's neck, whereupon they turned almost completely sideways." --
Dr. John K. Lattimer; Page 265 of "Kennedy And Lincoln: Medical And
Ballistic Comparisons Of Their Assassinations" [c.1980] (Via a
November 1974 article by Dr. Lattimer that appeared in the "Medical
Times")
I'd highly recommend both "Beyond The Magic Bullet" and "Kennedy And
Lincoln". They both go a long way toward debunking a whole lot of
unfounded conspiracy theories relating to the murder of John Kennedy.

I quote from the WC testimony of Dr. Shaw.
http://history-matters.com/archive/jfk/wc/wcvols/wh6/html/WC_Vol6_0048a.htm
Mr. SPECTER - Will you describe Governor Connally's condition, Dr.
Shaw, directing your attention first to the wound on his back?
Dr. SHAW - When Governor Connally was examined, it was found that
there was a small wound of entrance, roughly elliptical in shape, and
approximately a cm. and a half in its longest diameter, in the right
posterior shoulder, which is medial to the fold of the axilla.
Mr. SPECTER - What is the axilla, in lay language, Dr Shaw?
Dr. SHAW - The arm pit.
Apparently, you do not know that a surgeon treats a gunshot wound by
cutting away devitalized tissues. This debridement enlarges the
wound.

"Attention was next turned to the wound of entrance. The skin
surrounding the wound was removed in an elliptical fashion, enlarging
the incision to approximately 3 cm. Examination of the depths of this
wound reveal that the latissimus dorsi muscle alone was injured, and
the latex rubber drain could be felt immediately below the laceration
in the muscle. A single mattress suture was used to close the
laceration in the muscle. The skin was then closed with interrupted
vertical mattress sutures of black silk."
End of quotation.
The Clark Panel described the shape of President Kennedy's scalp wound
as a 6 mm by 15 mm ellipse.

Photographs 7, 14, 42, and 43 show the back of the head, the contours
of which have been grossly distorted by extensive fragmentation of the
underlying calvarium. There is an elliptical penetrating wound of the
scalp situated near the midline and high above the hairline. The
position of this wound corresponds to the hole in the skull seen in
the lateral X-ray film #2. (See description of X-ray films.) The long
axis of this wound corresponds to the long axis of the skull. The
wound was judged to be approximately six millimeters wide and 15
millimeters long. The margin of this wound shows an ill-defined zone
of abrasion.
End of source.
Now that I have cited official sources to document my assertions, it
is your turn to show us the source of the ridiculous claim of "an
elongated (keyhole) entrance wound measuring 3 cm in length (virtually
the EXACT length of CE 399.)"
I call your claim ridiculous because of the well known fact that a
simple wound made by a sideways strike by a bullet has a rectangular
shape with parallel sides and slight rounding its corners. In fact,
the Forensic Pathology Panel called this shape "virtually rectangular"
when they attempted to misrepresent the Governor Connally's back wound
as 30 mm (3 cm) and elongated.

(425) If a missile strikes an intervening target, its normal yaw may
be exaggerated, or it may begin to tumble. The entry wound in
subsequent target might reflect this distortion in trajectory by
anything from a very slight asymmetry to an ovoid or virtually
rectangular entry wound. The latter would be the case if the missile
were to strike sideways and is somewhat similar to what was described
in some of the initial medical reports on the wound in the posterior
thorax of Governor Connally.
End of source.
So there you have it, Steve. A sideways strike makes a rectangular
wound and the eyewitnesses from Parkland described an elliptical
wound. Do I need to quote doctor Gregory?
Herbert
So Herbert is it your claim that Connally's back wound was not
elongated but was perfectly round--thus supported your silly theory
that nothing distorted the trajectory of the Connally bullet? If so,
then please explain why Connally's back scar up to the time of his
death was elongated. Are you really claiming that the entrance hole
on Connally's back was cylindrical and the claims that it was a
keyhole shape or eliptical was all made up by the invisible
conspirators?
Is THAT really your claim?
