LINKS TO SOME SELDOM-HEARD AUDIO RECORDINGS FEATURING
PRESIDENT JOHN F. KENNEDY:

====================================================

On November 4, 1963, less than three weeks before his own death, JFK
dictated a memoir entry, pertaining to the recent assassination of
Vietnam's President Diem. The voices of both of Kennedy's two young
children (John-John and Caroline) can also be heard during this
recording:

JFK talks on the phone with the British Prime Minister during the
tense last days of the Cuban Missile Crisis (October 26, 1962):

One year and one day before he died, John Kennedy was involved in the
following spirited conversation with officials of NASA concerning the
task of landing a man safely on the moon. As with all of these
recordings, this is fascinating stuff here:

3-part audio from early October 1963 with President Kennedy and high-
ranking members of his staff. The topic -- Withdrawing troops from

Kennedy talks on the phone with his doctor (George Burkley), with Jack
asking Burkley to "send up a little extra medication". This is from
March of 1963:

This one isn't a Kennedy call, but it's very interesting nonetheless
-- a March 12, 1964, conversation between JFK's successor (Lyndon
Johnson) and FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover. This short phone call
concerns a rather odd subject -- an FBI background check that Hoover
had just completed on Hollywood actress Janet Leigh (of "Psycho"
fame):

HILARIOUS LYNDON B. JOHNSON AUDIO RECORDING:

=======================================

August 9, 1964: President Johnson needs six pairs of Haggar slacks
tailor-made for his large frame (and his "bunghole"), and he
specifically needs some more room "down there where yer nuts hang".

Classic LBJ stuff here....and the Johnson belch in the middle of the
phone call just tops things off exquisitely!

This particular telephone call also appears on the 4-Tape VHS video
set that came out several years ago, entitled "The LBJ Tapes", only
this version linked below is the uncut call, whereas the VHS version
has been edited a little bit.

This recording might just keep you laughing all day (and all night
too):
