The third and final series of The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin starts on
UKGold this Friday (25th) at 10.50pm. Reggie starts a community for the middle
class and middle-aged, and recruits all the old mob as staff. Oh, and McBlane,
the unintelligible Scottish chef. Parts of this series were originally cut
because of their racist overtones:

Heard today that WB in the States were pulling several classic Bugs Bunny
cartooons because of their racist (?) overtones. A warning was suggested,
advising that these were classics and of their time, but WB decided to
deprive the kiddies of some great cartoons instead.

I didn't get where I am today by making obvious and cliched comments that
everyone else has already made before me.
