And I'd rather be tortured in Hell than worship a psychopath like your God (whether he's real or imaginary), so we're even.

Not just his bigotry but his aggressive stupidity.

No matter how much you keep explaining it to morons like this, they
refuse even to try and understand what an atheist is and what one
isn't.

It has long since ceased to be an honest mistake on his part - even in
the unlikely event it was one once.

I have never understood why they can't accept that they are wrong
about what it means to an atheist to be atheist.

They don't need to understand it, just accept it and have the common
sense and courtesy not to keep getting it nastily wrong.

>You've already been an atheist, you were born one. Until Mom and Dad
>did the brainwash job you. A weak-willed little Nazi stormtrooper, do

The morons can't bring themselves to accept this - just look at all
the threads where theists claim theism is inherent, and the personal
lies as ad hominems when the justifications for concluding it is
taught are pointed out - they'll say and do anything rather than admit
it.

There must be a way to motivate cultists to off themselves in large
numbers. Sadly we only get them removing themselvs in small numbers,
one here, one trhere, occasionally a couple of dozen. We need a way
to get millions of them killing themselves quietly and off some
place where their remains don't adversely impact the environment. :)

Actually, these morons are just the ones that love to come into aa to

It seems very difficult, as what we encountered are very weak human or
they are so greedy for eternal lives that they will refuse to give up
their believes.

They think they will not loose anything, but they never realize that
they do not contribute positively to the human society as well. That
impedes progress.

Yes. He bungled. Probably why the Navy wouldn't keep him.

Since there is no Hell In Judaism, my religion, I don't know what you are talking about and I seriously doubt you do.

I prefer secular democracies (with the separation of church and state) to what you call "atheist regimes." I keep telling you this but you just don't seem to remember it. You must be pretty stupid, that's the most rational explanation.

I'm an atheist because you can't make a coherent argument that God exists. If you could, I still wouldn't worship God - he's a psychopathic mass torturer.

Hypothetically, even if God wasn't psychopathic it still wouldn't be
necessary to believe if he was proven to exist.

Do people ever refer to their real friends in terms of believing that
they exist? No, people normally refer to their real friends in terms of
them actually being an undenable part of reality.

In what passes for their minds they don't "believe" it exists, its
existence is a given - believing *in* it means something else, trust
that it will be help them out like you and are there for our loved
ones when they need us.

>Do people ever refer to their real friends in terms of believing that

As do these idiots, and they have a mental block that it isn't for the
rest of us.

It's why they "define" us as people who "believe [something real and
supremely important] doesn't exist" and why morons like Bruno, Gordon,
RogerN, Dan Wood and the rest of them talk at us as if it did.

And why they amateur-psychologise all sorts of falsehoods about us,
which only reflect their own state of mind because that's the only one
they know.

But you are not afforded the ability to make that choice. God always
chooses who he will and who he won't have fellowship and communion with.

Besides, since your mind cannot possibly conceive of, or even imagine
what awaits you in Hell, you are forced to use only images from examples
of humans torturing other humans for your rather meek and mild
conception of "torture". Unfortunately for you, since the unmitigated
wrath of God, with nothing being held back, is something no one has ever
seen or felt before, it will be infinitely worse than whatever weak and
placid idea you may now have of "torture", and it will certainly make
your "Hollywood" version of torture look and feel like a game of
touch-football, among a group of third-graders.

I doubt anyone at my funeral will say that.I will be buried at a veteran's

I may get a 15 gun salute.(I hope I have done enough for the defense of the United States to deserve one)

Wow! Extreme.

I am an atheist - and I enjoy the warmth of the morning Sun on my
face.
I love the sound of laughter.
The smell of rain after a hot summers day.
The taste of a fresh picked raspberry.
The warmth of my woman's body next to me in bed.

Why should I want to be dead Joe?

Grease it twice, Joe, I didn't say 'the', I said 'one of the', but
whilst we're at it, what the fuck good has Christian influence had on
countries south of the border? As the U.S. has been for the most part
been a ,LOL, Christian nation, who the fuck are all these fucked up
people? The ones who are in the largest prison population in the
world, the ones who aren't in prison but definately should be, the
ones who in all areas of commerce are greedy, lying, thieving money
grubbing bastards, (or are the hapless stupid tools for greedy, lying,
thieving money grubbing bastards), the ones who committed suicide, the
ones whose lives have been destroyed by drugs, the ones who see
nothing wrong with shitting we're we eat to the point that it
threatens not only their lives but the lives of every living thing on
Earth, the ones who voted for ignorant fucking bastards like the Sr.
and Jr. Bush's, the ones with no idea of the consequences of
exponential growth, the ones who have been bending over and taking it
up the ass from a government which is not of, for or by them, the ones
who lap up the blessings their 'god' gives them while never
questioning why the fuck it would give so disparately, the ones who
keep their months shut while over we fuck countries up like we did to
Iraq because their know it was the only thing fueling the economy
which supports their glutonous self centered lives, etc., etc. Who the
fuck are all these people, Joe, peoples whose lives have been
untouched by the Christian faith?

It's as if they're "interpreting" atheism in the sense that
interpretation is a form of passing judgement. One could even say that
they're passing judgement on their own dogmatic doctrine since it's so
vague and confusing at times that the only way to rationalize it to a
somewhat sensible degree depends on interpretation.

"Aggressive stupidity" is a wonderfully vivid term. If one was to put
it in a dictionary, what do you think would be the best definition?

Perhaps the above, or should there be a bit more to it for a formal
definition for broader audiences?

They're trying to trick atheists into taking a position so that they
can engage in debate on a level that [they think] they understand. I
suspect it frustrates them to no end when atheists don't take a
position because for them it would be like trying to talk to a brick
wall (which is also absent of belief).

Clarity, which they perceive as a threat to religious belief, is a
serious problem for them that they feel a need to eradicate. They may
even think of it as a sort of democratic approach that is really just
nothing smarter than the attempted use of peer-pressure tactics (they do
tout statistics from time-to-time to justify their views).

They probably also believe that repeating the same message will
eventually convince everyone -- it probably worked on them after all,
but they heartily refuse to call either of these examples
"brainwashing."

You need to sort this out with the other Christians who tell me I have "free choice" and get back to me.

He tortures whomever he wills, get it right.

No, I wouldn't say that to you. I would say "your God is a psychopath, and psychopaths like to inflict pain on others."

I'm not. There is no God in sight. I'm speaking hypothetically.

My mommy and daddy made me. Your mommy and daddy made you. See, if you weren't home schooled you would know stuff like this.

Sure, and if the potter decides to torture the clay afterwards then he can be considered to be a psychopathic torturer of clay.

Wrong. It says right in the Bible what awaits me in Hell - a fiery lake of burning sulfur. I'm sure you have lots of additional punishment fantasies you're drooling to tell me about too.

> you are forced to use only images from examples

I derive my conception of Biblical torture from the Bible. But whatever it may be, if God exists I choose torture over worshiping a psychopath like him.

My idea of Biblical torture is derived from the Bible. Other than that, I don't spend any time imagining what forms of torture there are, I just assume they are all awful. I'll leave it up to psychopaths to fantasize about stuff like that. I just know that I prefer torture over worshiping a psychopath like God. I think it's the only moral choice.

> and it will certainly make
> your "Hollywood" version of torture look and feel like a game of

Look, I know you really want me to be all afraid and stuff, but I'm not. For starters, you have no coherent argument that God even exists. Next, I'm the sort who would rather be tortured than worship a psychopathic monster. Too bad, so sad.

They simply choose to ignore verses like these:

"In him we [the chosen elect] have obtained an inheritance, having been
predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things
according to the counsel of his will."
--Ephesians 1:11 (ESV)

"So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he
wills. You will say to me then, 'Why does he still find fault? For who

Will what is molded say to its molder, 'Why have you made me like this?'
Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one
vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use?"
--Romans 9:18-21 (ESV)

"And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are
perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of
the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the
glory of Christ, who is the image of God."
--2 Corinthians 4:3-4 (ESV)

"The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for
they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because
they are spiritually discerned."
--1 Corinthians 2:14 (ESV)

"No one can come to Me unless it is granted him by the Father."
--John 6:65 (ESV)

"All that the Father gives to Me will come to Me."

"You did not choose me, but I chose you."
--John 15:16 (ESV)

It's only natural for a person who's on the receiving end of the wrath
of God to feel that way about him. But, you're wrong. He won't inflict
any pain on me. He will only punish those who deserve to be punished for
their sins.

Not really. All you get from the Bible is the setting where you will be
tormented and punished forever, viz. a lake of fire. You won't just
placed into the lake of fire, and that 's it. The Bible doesn't say
anything about what will happen to you after you're in that lake of
fire, except that it is there that you will experience the full wrath of
God, that only unrepentant sinners will experience as deserved
punishment for their sins.

> Look, I know you really want me to be all afraid and stuff

No not really. In fact, I'm positive you cannot be afraid, because
you're being held back from knowing the truth.

If you knew the truth, you would be afraid. But you cannot know the
truth, so therefore you're not afraid.

"And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are
perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of
the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the
glory of Christ, who is the image of God."

Joe makes a good point -- his suicidal feelings aren't an implicitly

No, no. I said sort it out with your fellow Christians, not me. Maybe you guys could have another war about it or something.

Your inability to grasp that torture is wrong is a trait you share in common with psychopaths. Did you learn to think like a psychopath from worshiping one, or did it come naturally for you?

That you don't care that God tortures others (for eternity!) as long as he leaves you alone qualifies you as "amoral." And yet you are here preaching morality. I don't think an amoral guy is qualified to preach morality.

Burning someone alive is a form of torture. That you can't grasp this is yet another trait you share in common with psychopaths. Did you learn to think like a psychopath from worshiping one, or did it come naturally for you?

Unlike you (apparently), I am capable of abstract thought and can deduce the outcome when you place people in a lake of fiery sulfur - they burn and die a horrible, painful death, unless you keep them alive by magic and burn them over and over, for eternity. That you can't figure out that this is torture is a trait you share in common with psychopaths. Did you learn to think like a psychopath from worshiping one, or did it come naturally for you?

> > Look, I know you really want me to be all afraid and stuff

Yes, really. That's why you keep repeating how painful Hell is going to be for me.

> In fact, I'm positive you cannot be afraid, because

That doesn't stop you from trying to make me afraid, like I said.

> If you knew the truth, you would be afraid.

I do know the truth - if your God exists he's a psychopathic mass torturer and I think it is therefore immoral to worship him, so I would rather be tortured (by whatever punishment fantasies you conjure up) than worship someone like that.

> But you cannot know the
> truth, so therefore you're not afraid.

I know that if God exists then he is truly a psychopathic monster, and unworthy of worship. I know that it is also true that you cannot make a coherent case that God even exists, so I'm relieved.

You just don't get it.
They refuse to acknowledge certain verses that advocate predestination.
They like to think they're in charge, not God.

When it's being done by God to a sinner, it's deserved punishment.

I know enough not to even try.

No, you don't. You only know what you want to believe is true.
It's far from being the truth.

It's only natural for someone who's on the receiving end of the full
wrath of God to believe that.
That way you feel like you're the victim, when actually you're being
punished for your sins.

I have no suicidal feelings. I was expressing my feelings about atheism in a
way which described my abhorrence of it.

Not according to the Navy, it isn't.A LTJG is the second officer pay grade.
A Lieutenant is the 3rd officer pay grade. They are separate pay grades and
wear different insignias of rank.A LTJG wears a single silver bar, while a Lieutenant wears a double silver bar.

1.The Navy does not have anything called an "MOS".Navy technical specialties
are known as "rates.

2.Most Navy officers are not specialized into rates.Only JAG Corp lawyers,
physicians, chaplains(clergy),Supply Corp and dentists are.I was what the Navy
calls "Unrestricted Line", which means an officer being trained for command
of a ship at sea.

If you take nothing seriously, no one will take anything you say seriously.
Apparently, you are ignorant and proud of it.

Choosing "suicide" as the reflective mechanism is peculiar for someone
who isn't naturally inclined to suicide at both conscious and
subconscious levels. Evaluating something as transparently natural as
atheism to being worthy of ending one's life is irrational and must be
dealt with promptly, no matter how you attempt to deny it -- the fact
is that you expressed an aspect of your psyche without realizing the
true seriousness of your problem.

I strongly recommend that you phone the Crisis Centre right now (the
"Operator" will know who to connect you to if you ask) and just talk
with them about what you wrote about committing suicide (also mention
the concerns I have for your well-being) because I suspect that you
have a repressed need to speak with someone who will really listen to
you and can engage you in a meaningful and constructive way that will
truly help.

The Crisis Centre, which is a phone-based service in many countries
that is free, will respect your privacy and anonymity because their
goal is intensely focused on doing their very best to help people help
themselves in finding a resolution, or at least a means to cope with,
their personal problems.

Yes, I do. You believe in predestination and other Christians believe in free will. You don't get that I think your arguments for either are equally invalid.

From where I sit you all like to think you're experts about what an invisible mute magical psychopath wants. So sort it out among yourselves and get back to us, you lose credibility when you disagree about your religion.

You're not God, I'm answering back to you. Bring God here and I'll answer to him, too.

It's natural for me to think you're amoral when you act like you're amoral.

Special Pleading Fallacy: just because God does it doesn't mean it isn't torture. No one deserves to be tortured. That you can't grasp this is a trait you share in common with psychopaths. The question is, does this come naturally to you or did Christianity train you to think like a psychopath?

Yes, really. It's part of the psychopathic training.

Then why are you trying?

Yes, I do. Saying things like "If you knew the truth, you would be afraid" is an attempt to make me afraid.

> You only know what you want to believe is true.

I don't want to believe that there are people like you in this world, yet I know it's true. So I guess you're wrong.

> It's far from being the truth.

Nope. You are trying to frighten people - it's your defining trait. Have a review of the posts you've been inflicting on us. There's no sense in you lying about it.

It's natural for someone who grasps what torture is to recognize God as a psychopathic mass torturer. That you can't grasp that God is a torturer is a trait you share in common with psychopaths. The question is, does this come naturally to you or did Christianity train you to think like a psychopath?

> That way you feel like you're the victim,

I keep telling you, I'd rather be tortured in Hell than worship a psychopath like God. How is that being a "victim"? I'm standing up for all those people that God is supposedly torturing.

> when actually you're being

No, I'm not. I'm enjoying life immensely, while you're just enduring it in the hope that you'll be rewarded after you're dead.

> See how that works?

Yes. You delude yourself into believing that I'll be tortured for eternity, and that makes you feel better.

But thanks for all the insights into how psychopaths think! I'm very interested in this subject.

That's your straw man that you set up to attack, and nothing more.

And you're showing more of how you don't know what you're talking about.

More proof of how you don't know what you're talking about.

That's your Straw Man Fallacy.

When it's being done by God to a sinner, it's deserved punishment, not
cruel, undeserved torture. Get used to it.

Got it?

You're welcome,

Surely, in this case the world can afford his waiting a few months
before doing anything rash. There is a possibility that your
diagnosis is incorrect.

Nope, it's a valid conclusion based on the fact that you continually defend the use of torture. Torture is a sign of psychopathy, psychopaths are amoral, you are defending torture, therefore you are amoral. And for fuck's sake, learn what a strawman is.

> And you're showing more of how you don't know what you're talking about.

Except I do know what I am talking about - I have studied psychopathy quite extensively the past few years, and I know that torture and amorality are two of the defining traits of a psychopath.

More proof that you can't grasp what logical fallacies are.

More proof that you can't grasp what logical fallacies are.

Just because God does it doesn't mean it isn't torture. This is a Special Pleading Fallacy and yet another example of how you can't grasp that torture is wrong. The question is do you naturally think like a psychopath, or have you learned to think like a psychopath by worshiping one. I suspect it's both.

> Get used to it.

I'm very used to people not being able to grasp that the "loving" God they worship is a psychopathic monster.

> Got it?

Yes. Your psychopathic reasoning prevents you from being able to see your God for what he is.

But thanks for giving me further insights into how a psychopath thinks!
